Phyllis sais that this is Kartang Rija country (Turner River Station) - country of her family. It is right in Purnululu (Bungle Bungles). They lived there for a long time. The Ord River and the creeks all run through this part, between the hills, in the flatter land there in the middle. In Dry Times there were not a lot of water around there, but still it is a good country for the whole year round. Hot in the day but nice and cool of a night time. It is way to the east of Warmun, where Phillis lives now.
